Just a Lil' RP between us two, sharing/posting for the enjoyment of everyone.
Oliver stood hesitantly in front of the mirror, trying to decide between two bowties: one had purple diagonal stripes on blue, and one had blue plaid on pink. He went with the striped bowtie and tied it around his neck, smiling at his reflection in the mirror - however, that smile turned into a grin the moment he heard loud cursing from downstairs. He sighed, grabbing his bag and slinging it onto his shoulder as he headed down the stairs to see the completely expected - Arthur burning some eggs on the stove. "Arthur, Arthur - " he went over to his twin brother, looking at the burnt eggs, turning off the stove, and tossing the eggs into the trash - "couldn't you at least have gone for oatmeal? You usually don't burn oatmeal." He smiled and kissed the other's forehead (who, might I add, rolled his eyes to that - he wasn't a child, in fact, he was older than Oliver by two minutes!) before opening the pantry and retrieving a new box of Smores Poptarts, putting them into the toaster. With skill. Obviously. "No muffins today?" "Nope! Don't have time!" He grinned as the Poptarts popped from the toaster and the both of them got their respective share. Soon enough, though, Oliver had run out of the house, gone into his tiny little car and driven to his bakery. Oliver was very, very proud of his bakery, really. The location was perfect, first of all, as it was centered in a sort of mall outlet area, right next to the food court - oh, it practically was the food court, really. And then the decoration around the bakery - the pastels of blue, pink, purple, and a bit of yellow and green with just the right amounts of black and white - it made Oliver smile every time he walked in and started taking orders. And as usual, the day ended spectacularly. 376 completed orders, and 34 orders he'd have to have ready tomorrow at noon. Easy enough, really, and at that he got to closing down shop - turning around the wooden sign at the door to read "Closed" and getting out the cleaning supplies. He started with mopping the floor, and he did tasks in order from easiest to hardest - hardest was setting everything in place for tomorrow, which wasn't really hard at all - just harder than all the rest. From the color coded calendar under the register to the fresh set of food coloring in ascending rainbow color order, he got everything in place and put his bag on his shoulder to open the door and go home. Today was a good day, after all! He'd have to tell Arthur all about the girl who wanted a 3 foot tall unicorn made out of marshmallows!
