Greetings, everyone!

I'd like to welcome you all to our first OFFICIAL APH Forums Event!

Allow me to explain how this works. Tomorrow at 12:00 PM PST I will be hosting an EpicMafia Competition!

If you don't know what EpicMafia is, you can read inside the quote. If you do, feel free to skip!

Mafia is a game of psychology that was introduced in 1986 in Moscow State University. It started off very simply, with basic roles such as villager and mafia. The mafia were the informed minority and the village was the uninformed majority. Although there are other roles, the basic premise of an informed minority versus an uninformed majority remains.

Epic Mafia is a live mafia site created in January of 2008. It is played real-time, using a live chatting and voting system. The website features 3 "stickied" lobbies (Main, Sandbox , Games) as well as a variety of user-created custom lobbies.

Every person is assigned a role at the start of the game. You are randomly sided with either the village, the mafia, or a third party. During the night, the mafia secretly meet and discuss to decide who they want to kill, while other power roles decide what to do. During the day, the village players must figure out who is not sided with the village and vote them off.

I'll be hosting EpicMafia games Monday, May 25th for that day. To play it's required to sign up for an account, but you don't have to worry about spam or anything like that. Every game will be passworded, just so I know that only APH Forum members are playing. When the event is ready to kick off, I'll post the password both here and in the Shoutbox. Additionally, we will be in the Hetalia lobby and by the time the games start, everybody will be disguised as random Hetalia characters. (No, unfortunately you cannot pick) Whichever side wins will earn one of the brand new Badges: Mob Boss. Since I'll be hosting several games, it is indeed possible to earn the Mob Boss Badge more than one time.

Just know that this game MAY have possible triggers including:

Death (A standard occurrence that happens every game)
Lynching (A standard occurrence that happens when village knows who Mafia is)
Guns (I mean well, this is the Mafia)
Cultist/Cthulhu (Though possible in-game roles, we can leave these out)
Killer (A literal serial killer role alongside Mafia. 3rd Party side)
Virgin (Just in case, but. If lynched Mafia cannot kill the next night)

I believe that's all of them but if I missed any, please feel free to tell me and I will edit the post!
