(( not sure wingtalia actually qualifies as magic but idk where else to put this so. This is another amazing rp between me and Prince(ss) Joe ★ hope y'all enjoy reading it lmfao ))
Allan had been flying for what felt like days. Ever since that loud BANG! that he had heard in the forest where he used to live, and saw that terrifying figure prowling around his makeshift nest, he had been trying to get away. He was hungry, dehydrated, and exhausted. His wings were giving out on him. He knew he couldn't go on for much longer.
Below him, he could see the outlines of what appeared to be a civilization. A very advanced civilization at that. There were artificial lights not made by fires and strange technology that he had never seen before. The buildings were tall and new and not falling apart like any other city he had been to before.
One building in particular had caught his eye. It was a bright pink color, unlike the metallic grays that the other buildings seemed to be painted. Deciding it was as good a place as any to sit and rest for a moment, he took a dive towards the roof of the building and landed on top of it, sitting with his legs dangling over the edge and folding his wings in ever so slightly.
Unfortunately, his rest didn't last for long. As he gazed over the city that he had come across, not even ten seconds had passed before a commotion started to brew below his perch. Shouts of "Did you see that!? He fell from the sky! Look, he's got wings! He was flying! What kind of creature is that!? Quick, take a picture of it!" could be heard even from atop the building.
Allan looked down at the people who had gathered beneath them, only to see that they were all wingless. Every single one of them. None of them had wings and all of them were wearing shirts and long pants and a manner of other clothing items, versus Allan and his worn and ragged shorts. They all looked so confused, shocked, and even scared when they looked at him. Many of them began pulling strange objects from their pockets and bags and pointing them at Allan.
More and more people were gathering. There were bright flashes and more shouts. Some people were now saying things like "Someone should try to catch it! Do you know how much money some people would pay for a creature like that? Do you think it's dangerous? I say we shoot it down!" Allan was scared, and rightfully so.
Panicking slightly, he stood up and began to dash away from the edge where he had been sitting. He wasn't watching where he was going; he was too busy focusing on getting a running start to jump off of the building and fly away. He tripped over something metal, and gasping, he flapped his wings while he was air born before his wings gave out on him and he fell down an opening in the building's roof; the chimney.
He screamed the whole way down, feeling his wings slide against the rough bricks with which the tunnel he was falling through had been built. It wasn't really a long way down, but the fact that he was just a tad too big to be able to get down the chimney smoothly was hindering the journey. When his body was finally free of the horrid tunnel, albeit completely covered in black soot and laying very uncomfortably on a pile of burnt wood, his wings remained stuck inside the chimney, and he had no idea how to get them free.
(( I WENT RLY OVERBOARD I'M SORRY OMG ))
