I haven't used forums in a long time, but I learned how sweet the Hetalia fan community is and I wanted to join this place! <3
Hello everyone, I'm a boy who just recently turned 16 last month. I really like adorable stuff (which is why I like Hetalia. It's so cute, ahh!!) and I consider myself to be quite effeminate for a boy, haha xD All of my friends are female and I have trouble getting along with other boys at school. Most people think I'm gay because of that and it's annoying because I'm not (I have no problem with gay people though. I am very supportive of the LGBT actually! <3), I'm asexual who is also aromantic (but I confuse people because of that 'cause for an asexual person, I am very affectionate with people I like and I adore people I find cute.)
I haven't watched too many anime series. Besides Hetalia, I'm also into Ouran High School Host Club. I find myself liking shoujo and bishounen anime though. I just prefer a nice cute story or bishounens over lots of actions and big bosoms bouncing everywhere.
My favorite character is Russia, because he is just so adorable and I find his personality really deep and complex compared to the rest of the Hetalia characters. I also really adore the Nordic Five (I also like them in real life. They seem so sensible!)
Besides anime, I am an avid video gamer! I've been playing video games since I was a kid and I still do gaming today. I play lots of Japan video games though, like Nintendo, Sega, and Atlus games (I really enjoy Nintendo and Atlus games in particular.) My favorite genre are JRPGs, like the Mother trilogy (Mother 3 is my favorite! I love that game to bits!), Pokemon, Persona 3 and 4 (I also really adore Persona 3), and Suikoden. I wanna try out Xenoblade,Fire Emblem, and Danganronpa eventually but I have like, no money lately xD. I am currently playing Devil Survivor:Overclocked. I also like Kirby, my first video game was a Kirby game. I'm also trying to get into anime fighting games with Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and BlazBlue (thinking of playing Guilty Gear at some point.) I joined video game fan communities in the past, but they are really unpleasant and hateful. It makes me sad..
I really like listening to Vocaloid too~
I also wanna try to get into fashion, 'cause I admire anime boys so much that I wanna try and be pretty like them! However, my dad doesn't approve of me wanting to get into bishounen fashion. I also have curly,poofy hair so I have a hard time getting bish hair :/ Maybe someday I can achieve my goal.
I'm not sure what else to say here, except that my birthday happens to be the same as APH Iceland's birthday, and I was born on father's day xD except, since this is a Hetalia community and it's all about nationalities, I am a Mexican-American. Though, I am a bit sad that there isn't an APH Mexico for me to associate with xP
Oh yeah, I love using Gimp to make stuff, like animations.
My icon is also animated in case you didn't notice. I just made it so the last frame will stay there for a long time.
